Southwest Wyoming

The Southwest Wyoming wind energy facility is on ranch land currently used for cattle grazing. Agricultural activities take place directly adjacent to the wind turbine foundation pads.

The Facility


Location: Uinta County, approximately 10 miles northeast of Evanston
Generating Capacity: 144 MW
Turbines: 80 Vestas V80, 1.8 MW wind turbines. Tower height is 60 meters and rotor diameter is 80 meters.
Transmission: From the project's substation, energy is transmitted across Pacifi Corp transmission lines from southwestern Wyoming west to the Salt Lake City area and/or east to Colorado.
